Among Bangkok’s newer hotel openings, Radisson Chateau de Bangkok stands out for its composure. Set in the central Ploenchit area, it offers a stay that feels polished and calm, without any of the intimidation that sometimes comes with luxury.

Arrival and Atmosphere

The lobby is bright and welcoming, a space that invites you to slow down, sit and take in the surroundings. The overall mood is elegant and quiet. Getting around is easy too: a complimentary shuttle tuk tuk takes guests to BTS Ploenchit, putting the rest of the city within reach.

Resting in the Deluxe Room

The Deluxe Room is spacious, very clean and comfortable, with a generous layout designed around rest and function. After two days on the property, it is easy to see the appeal of a room that simply works well and lets you recover from a busy city.

Where to Eat

Larder & Lounge is relaxed but stylish, with a menu that has range. The Ka Prao pizza gives a Thai accent to a familiar favorite, the double cheeseburger is rich and well cooked, and the desserts are indulgent without being heavy.

Chateau Botanique is the more refined option, with flavorful and thoughtful dishes. Staff even arranged a birthday surprise at the table one evening, complete with tiramisu. Breakfast is a large buffet with a daily-changing selection that goes beyond typical hotel fare.

Pool Above the City

On the 12th floor, the pool and gym open onto unobstructed views of the Bangkok skyline, and a poolside bar offers snacks and light bites. Service throughout is attentive, warm and professional.

With its location, design, food and service, Radisson Chateau de Bangkok makes a strong case as a new luxury option for travelers who value comfort, style and quiet sophistication.
